TITLE: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias
This is a real and infinite attraction that we have in front of such gigantic building.... going there at night with all lightnings and reflections is just blowing for a photographer. We can spend all night to take all buildings in all dimension, zooming, long exposure.... so distracting. This picture is among a nice series that I hope I'll have a chance to share.
Black and white was of course obvious to highlight all contrasts. I chose not to go on refine it as well known "fine art" mate transformation, to keep the effect of lightning with along exposure.
AUTHOR: ALEXANDRE EVRARD (France)
Laboratory manager in the seed industry, I finally jumped at 48 into photography starting in 2021 and still on a learning phase. I don't know why my feelings tend to see the world in B&W, but so fare it's my favorite way to print my view of the world trying different things even if landscapes will be certainly my favorite accomplishment. B&W are a really strait forward way of playing with natural lights. I still need to learn a lot, buy some new focals, try some new technics....but well, at some point we need to face the external world and the critics.
