TRADESCANTIA (EPHEMERY)

A Latin name for the plant "Ephemery" or "Misery", to translate the struggle of feeling trap between to side of myself.

This selfportait is part of a large serie called "Naturally", a serie of photomontage, borned during the COVID confinement, a time where I was experimenting a large anxiety period. This serie mixes my drawing of abstracts plants and leaves with portraits or selfportaits.

This portraits are safeplace to express my emotions.

Young (I mean in my head) 30 years old plastician photographer based in Paris, my work concentrate itself on portraits mostly, evolving in a particulary natural landscape. The purpose is to create a fine line between fiction and reality. Most of the time my subjects are people of my life, to accentuate this ambiguity.

Since the COVID episode, my work is basicaly based on photomontage that mix my drawings and portraits, mostly selfportaits, to create abstract portraits that express my emotions.
