TITLE: Mind Landscape

Embarking on a 17,000 km odyssey from Hong Kong to Paris by land, this series intimately chronicles the serene isolation of train, bus and ferry voyages. Each snapshot is a frozen interlude between Earth and sky—a testament to the journey’s quiet introspection.

Utilizing light and blur as narrative devices, I transform the tangible reality within and outside the train into dreamscapes—a mental panorama. These images do not merely depict reality; they convey the essence of my experience. They evoke a sense of solitary exploration, internal dialogue, and a seek for tranquility and beauty to relieve myself.

Every image represents a moment of pause, an intimate examination of time and space, mirroring the journey’s mute musings.
