TITLE: Omo Valley Portraits
The Lower Valley of the Omo River, located in the remote southwest corner of Ethiopia near the border with Kenya, is home to dozens of indigenous groups, each with its own cultural heritage. These intimate portraits were made during visits to several villages and represent a number of tribal identities.

Kyle Adler is an award-winning professional photographer specializing in fine art, travel, the performing arts, and culture, and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work is unified by a passion for capturing the unique spirit of each place and its people. Kyle's overarching goal as an artist, author, and educator is to tell stories visually that advocate for positive social change.
Kyle is a winner of the prestigious international competition, Travel Photographer of the Year, and he was shortlisted for the National Geographic Photography Award. He was selected in a worldwide search by Digital Photo Pro Magazine as one of three Emerging Professionals. He served as a LABA Artist Fellow and as a Resident Artist at Pedvāle Art Museum, Latvia. Kyle's work has been exhibited at the de Young Museum, SF Airport, and around the world.
