TITLE: NO PAIN NO GAME
The presented project is my tribute the people of Bangladesh and their unusual effort to survive.
I visited Bangladesh in November 2023. Thanks to Mr. Nur's kindness, I had the opportunity to take a closer look at the everyday life of people, factories with working children, huge garbage dumps, craft and textile factories. (As a result, a large amount of documentary material was created, which was necessarily limited for the purposes of this photography competition.) I do not remember where I met so many hard workers. In addition, Bangladesh has around 5 million child workers aged between 5 to 14. From an early age, their lives are not easy. The principle is simple: no pain, no game. Due to the difficult economic situation of the country, the lack of legal regulations and a number of other factors that do not bring pride to the human species, there are no changes in the foreseeable future.
I tried, as much as possible, to make this document a universal story about human condition in many parts of the world, not to forget about such important problems as: slave labor of children, huge garbage dumps etc.
