TITLE: Self-Portraits from South Australia
'Self-Portraits from South Australia' is a series executed solely by myself, Jacinta Tomyn, when visiting a cattle farm in Hindmarsh Valley, South Australia during an overcast early morning.
The series includes black and white nude images captured while exploring the diverse settings and landscapes on the 64 acre farm. From expired farm materials to pristine waterfalls, the series presents the inspiration of the baron and the beautiful.
AUTHOR: Jacinta Tomyn (Australia)
Jacinta is a South Australian artist practicing within the medium of photography, specialising in Fine Art.
Jacinta's artistic expression evolved as an intersection between an interest in the study of light through photography, and a personal journey of self-discovery.
A continuous exploration of the darkness and light within the self and surrounds informs the direction of movement and capture. Every image results from a moment of feeling, enhanced by the honesty and freedom that the nude instils.
