TITLE: CONTINUUM
"Continuum" employs 4x5 black and white film to deeply explore the profound connection between trees and humanity, alongside time and eternity, viewing trees as mirrors to the human soul. Within contemporary art, this project highlights current environmental awareness and time exploration. The work enlarges images with traditional darkroom techniques, creating direct confrontations between individuals and nature, and between individuals and the images. This interaction reflects on how physical existence—trees and photographic prints—acts as a vessel for temporal information, echoing nature's enduring yet changing essence. "Continuum" bridges the tangible materiality of trees with time's ephemeral flow, revealing the interplay between the static and dynamic, the solid and the fluid, in the natural world.
