TITLE: A Backpacker - Journeys
This conceptual project stems from the connection between the real world and the world of fantasy, where I create a new, imaginary world using selected fragments of reality. Each piece is unique and carries a certain artistic subtext, allowing viewers to find their own meanings and interpretations and opening space for reflection and discussion. I see the creation of these digital abstract photo collages as the next step in the development of my artistic expression.
At the beginning of the creative process, I focus on photographing selected exteriors or architectural elements that become the main motif of the image. By using clones, manipulating them, and adding additional elements in the digital environment, I create an illusory world. However, this world is not deserted; it comes to life through a character that is the key and connecting motif of the entire concept.
The story of the traveller is a retrospective of my journeys so far. The central character was captured in Lisbon and gradually travels through places at home and abroad. The foundations of these places are fragments of the shopping centre in Bruntal, the cascade of The Flow Building in Prague, the memorial in Berlin, the facade of the city gallery, or the Kaya hotel in Istanbul. It is an adventure that continues to evolve, and I strive to bring my unique handwriting into its processing.
