TITLE: Ephemerality

I'm a commercial photographer specialising in food and wine.
Always fascinated by the ability of photography to freeze in a single shot a whole story, I'm looking for my own voice in a world dominated mostly by CGI images, videos and a main-stream trend that I feel is not in sync to my own ideas and concepts.
In this scenario I started this personal research on ephemerality and the co-existence of different time levels as parallel universes.
To investigate this topic I'm experimenting using techniques that are new for me. All the submitted pictures are caught on camera as they are, post production had been limited to the B&W conversion and the needed level control, all are long exposure lighted by multiple flash bursts with the elements of the composition added and removed to give them that spectral look as if they were existing in a different time layer in the same space
