I started taking photographs in college with 35mm black and white film. Later moved to 4x5 black and white film. Then moved again to 8x10 black and white, and learned platinum and palladium printing. The images in my submitted series were originally printed in 18x22" platinum/palladium by enlarging original 8x10 Tri-x camera negatives. For this contest, the negatives were scanned and processed in Photoshop for tonality. I took colorimeter readings from the original platinum prints made from the negatives and lightly applied the resulting color tone to the images I submitted.
