I am intrigued by the beauty of nature that surrounds us, and I use my camera to preserve fragments of memory and the raw essence of life in all its splendor.
Through my work, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and transcend time for viewers. Whether exploring the stark beauty of a windswept landscape, the intricate geometry of urban architecture, or the mundane moments of human life, my photographs invite viewers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in the beauty of moments lost and found.
Inspired by revered pioneers such as Ansel Adams, Irving Penn, Saul Leiter, and Johannes Vermeer, I strive to showcase Californian landscapes and the American West, infusing their technical prowess into my work.
Using a blend of medium format film, and digital cameras, I meticulously scan and process each photo or negative for fine adjustments. The final prints are made on museum grade fine art paper that captures the essence of my vision.
By day, I work as a software engineer. I also find joy in hiking, allowing the outdoors influence my artistic perspective.
