TITLE: Alder Lake

The lakes and reservoirs around the Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State are unusually low. They are revealing an alien landscape of cut trees and other traces of houses before the area was flooded. In the distance, what appears to be a mist is the remnants of smoke from smouldering forest fires in October. This reservoir sits on the Nisqually river near to Eatonville, Washington, USA.
