TITLE: Novecento

This building was built between the '30s and the '50s with a rationalism approach typical of that period. In recent years it was restored and adapted to house the Museo del Novecento, a museum of twentieth-century art inaugurated in 2010, especially renowned for its unique collection of Futurist paintings

Floriana Avellino is a chameleonic photographer from Monza, Northern Italy. Being naturally allergic to labels Floriana is really inspired by any photographic genre considering each genre not so much a way of capturing reality but of interpreting and sharing a personal vision of it in a specific moment or situation. In that process the observer mixes up with their subject of observation and there she sees a chance to build a bridge towards the outer world and other human beings meeting them in what we all have got in common (inner emotions, hopes and fears).
