TITLE: Leo's story - transgender man in Poland
Leonard Osiadło, lawyer and journalist by education, storyteller and fundraiser in non-governmental organizations by profession. He had the privilege in life that he chose his own name, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci and Leonardo di Caprio. The first, because he always wanted to be a "Renaissance man", the second, because "Titanic" is his beloved film from his (first) youth. There's a scene where Jack (Leonardo di Caprio) gets to a gala dinner on the first class deck and toasts to make every day count ("To make each day count!"). At some point in his life, Leonard realized that his days stopped counting - as if they did not belong to him. He started his transition and introduced himself to the world as a transgender man. In the photos in the pants belonging to the deceased father ("He lives in you" - The Lion King) and in the watch that he got from his mother for a round birthday. The back of the dial is engraved with "Always be yourself! I love you mom". Eternally grateful for the Love that surrounds him.
