TITLE: Lifeforms
Volcanic areas create spectacular landscapes and amaze us with their bizarre, nearly unreal landscapes that leave room for human imagination. Though drought and erosion are constantly present phenomena, some plants manage to survive. Some of these survivors and their persitant battle against the elements remind me of "lifeforms", found on a strange and distant planet. This series was developed during the last 15 months, all pictures were taken on the canary islands.
