The abandoned factory landscape is an industrial relic in the central region of Northeast China. It is a once brilliant ferroalloy factory and a key project during the first five-year plan period in China. The factory covers an area of several million square meters and mainly produces special alloy iron. With the development of market economy, many factors lead to gradual decline. Many workshops are empty, the equipment is covered with dust, and there are many work instructions and precautions on the walls of many teams. It feels like the work was stopped only yesterday. In fact, it has been stopped for more than ten years. The smallest factory here is as big as two or three football fields, the largest factory is as big as five or six football fields, and there are four smelting equipment in one factory. It is conceivable how many factories there are, and the supporting facilities are countless.
It is the first time to use the documentary archaeological method to shoot. Those huge factories stand there, and you will see the traces of construction in different periods. I think many industrial buildings and facilities are coming step by step. These factories have become memorial sculptures. Although the factories have been abandoned, they still shine with the glory of the past. These facilities in the weeds witness the early development history of a country, Through these images, the audience can see the development process in that period.
