TITLE: Mountains of Antarctica
A series of images taken in Antarctica and the South Shetland Islands during a voyage with the sailing ship Bark Europa. – Even after two years apart, I‘m still not sure what really happened there: it was one of the most surreal and beautiful experiences of my life, albeit very exhausting on several levels. Antarctica is a place you must work for—you can‘t just hop on a plane that will fly you there in comfort. The trip with the sailing ship Bark Europa was definitely the right choice to also get a small glimpse of how the old explorers must have felt on their search for the white continent or the end of the world.
