TITLE: Nature Charcoals

I loaded the film 'incorrectly' to allow the frames to bleed into one another. The overlapping single and multiple exposures reflect the contrasting stillness and movement present in nature.

Dominic Blewett is a photographer from the UK. He has lived and worked in ten cities on four continents, and is now based in Montreal, Canada.

Using aesthetically minimal concepts and a mix of digital and analogue photographic processes, Dominic’s current work focuses on the resilience of nature, and the fragility of humanity in the face of large-scale environmental change.

His photos have featured in exhibitions in Hanoi, Barcelona, and Berlin. In 2016, Dominic was awarded a grant by the European Journalism Centre to document water issues in Bangladesh.
