TITLE: Cathedrals of the sea
Works of art of nature
On this stretch of Galician coast you can find lots of small caves and indentations in the rocks, reminiscent of the Gothic architecture of the Middle Ages. Just like the cathedrals, the sea has also left the priests for this coast in the rocks.
The landscape here is clearly dominated by the sea and is constantly changing, depending on how high the water is. During high tide, the beach disappears almost completely under the waves. When the high tide recedes, the natural tunnels, caves and the formations of the rocks that have been shaped over the centuries by the constant erosion caused by the salt water become visible.
