TITLE: Captivitas
You don't always know what it is that locks you up, that walls you alive, that seems to bury you,
yet they feel I don't know which bars, which walls ...
Vincent van Gogh, from “Letters to Theo”,
September 24, 1880
Captivitas reflects on the concept of imprisonment, not only due to the loss of freedom.
When one knows darkness, darkness, loneliness, one feels closed and oppressed, yearning for what has been lost.
