TITLE: Indestructible.
Photography is my only escape. Photography is my escape from sadness, evil, fear and aggression. It gives me a sense of security, it is a buffer, it takes up my thoughts and hands.
War, this inconceivable evil is here, just now.
The war made me take the pinhole camera. I left home, I registered the peace, the spaces that are close to me. They are images of normality for me.
These plain and normal images appear to be permanent and imperishable. But is enough only moment for them, to cease to exist. It is so easy to destroy them.
Is There Hope for the World? I want to believe it will heppen.
When I finished taking pictures, I realized that all the pictures were made in Kazimierz and Podgórze. These are places that bear the traces of war that hit people eighty years ago.
Technical informations: pinhole camera / black and white negative / negative destruction
