TITLE: California Piers

Growing Up in California Ocean Piers always had a place in my heart. As i became an Adult I realized that piers had a special meaning for many people . The tourist, surfer, the romanic couple , a fisherman, a photographer. I realized that piers provide a platform for people to enjoy the ocean. For me thats pretty incredible that this simple structure can offer so much to so many people.

These Images are part of a book on California piers in Black and White, the book is yet to be completed. Some images the shutter speed is up to 3 minutes. I use ND filters and process in Nik collection.
