TITLE: Leaves of Paris
In spite of my enjoying walking the endless streets of Paris, mostly its double digit arrondissements, far away from its crowded and noisy center, I found myself looking down almost all of the time. The pavements covered with plane tree leaves made mesmerizing combinations of textures and contrast. The sidewalks themselves are at times worn out, or paved with pebbles, fascinated me as I wandered through unfamiliar streets. I then discovered the crosswalks, whose stripes of white color had a strange and interesting thickness them and when starting to peel, exposed older coats and created abstract shapes which inspired my imagination.
