AUTHOR: Bochun Cao (Hong Kong)
Cao Bochun is a travel photographer who enjoys capturing the intangible shape of TIME.
Bochun believes that photography is not only a way of documenting reality, but also a way of expressing emotions, stories and perspectives. Through my lens, I try to reveal the beauty, diversity and complexity of life on this planet.
I started my journey as a photographer when I was 16 years old, when I received my first camera as a birthday gift.
Since then, I have traveled to over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and America, capturing the essence of different cultures, landscapes and moments. Some of my favorite destinations include Japan, Iceland, Morocco and Peru. I enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques, such as long exposure, HDR, infrared and drone photography. I also like to challenge myself with different themes and projects, such as urban decay, wildlife conservation and human rights.
My work has been featured in various magazines, websites and exhibitions, I have also won several awards and competitions across Asia and the world.
My goal as a travel photographer is to inspire people to appreciate the beauty and diversity of our world, and to raise awareness about the issues that affect it. I hope that through my images, I can share my vision and passion with others, and encourage them to explore their own creativity and curiosity.
