TITLE: Timeless contact
The timeless contact between light and its subjects is always been responsible for what we define as beautiful, balanced and harmonious. But how light can transform them into feelings, into words, into silence… I think it will remain a mystery for humans.
AUTHOR: Weronika Kosidlo (Italy)
My name is Weronika Kosidlo and I’m 28.
I am a person who has developed his own specific vision of the world.
I always considered photography a means to communicate, to re-read reality, with a soft spot for Magnums and their ability to enclose iconic moments in human life.
I have collaborated with photography since I was a teenager, both behind and in front of the camera.
I love reportage photography because I think it represents the new frontier of memory, and the only salvation that protects spontaneity and, above all, the truth, a rare and increasingly mystified asset.
The world is full of aspiring photos and supporting technologies, but it is increasingly empty of feelings, of someone who knows how to look inside us, who appreciates our moment and knows how to make the most of it.
The human element is what no machine will ever be able to give you back, and it is what, also thanks to my multidisciplinary experience, I research.
I want looking at one of my photographs to give the same sensation as touching a tailored suit, smelling an artisanal perfume or a vintage wine.
