TITLE: Worshippers at the Western Wall Synagogue, Jerusalem
The Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site alongside the Temple Mount, functions as a synagogue and includes the area beneath Wilson's Arch. The space under Wilson's Arch was transformed into a synagogue after the 1967 Six-Day War. The synagogue contains a Torah ark that can house up to 100 Torah scrolls. The Western Wall is a place of prayer and pilgrimage sacred to the Jewish people.
