TITLE: Man with a Pipe
In 2015 New York City’s homeless population continued to rise from year 2014, with the number of homeless people sleeping each night in municipal shelters exceeding 60,000 people. Man with a pipe was one of them in September 2015. He was on the street near Greenwich Village. In 2022 more New Yorkers experienced homelessness than ever before. Circa 70,000 have no home in a city of more than 8.4 million people.
