TITLE: Moi-e-Muqaddas
Dargah Hazratbal is a Muslim shrine located in the city of Srinagar, in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The relic housed in the mosque is known as Moi-e-Muqaddas or the Holy Hair, believed by many Muslims to be a hair from the beard of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The relic is believed to have been brought to Kashmir by a Sufi saint in the 16th century. The relic is displayed to the public only on special occasions, such as the festival of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday. In frame you can see the head priest (Imam) displaying the relic to the public during the month of Ramadan.
