Introducing the rawness of nature, especially Jeju Island by capturing natural appearance of Jeju Island on black and white film without any adding or subtracting it. Tree tree tree is a major work of nature series he's worked on every year.

WHAN HONG(SEOK HWAN HONG), the artist was born and grown up in Ulsan(southernmost region of South Korea), and later in Australia, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. He is living in various environments with working on photography. In 2023, he has settled down in Berlin, Germany, and continued to work on his works. He is establishing his unique style with only using black and white films. The reason why he only sticks to use black and white films is that he wants to show the power of image itself rather than showing the image’s color.
