TITLE: Look of hope
Few people remember that the mission of zoos is to protect species from total extinction. Because it is thanks to us - human actions - that natural habitats of animals are disappearing and their numbers in the wild are drastically decreasing. If we - humans - do not change our self-centered behavior, within a few years some animal species will become endangered and very vulnerable, and then we will see the elephant, tiger or gorilla only in zoos.
With this simple and subtle portrait of a great grey owl from the Warsaw Zoo, I want to draw attention to this growing problem and mobilize for deeper reflection and action.
What do you think a great grey owl wants to tell you when you look deep into its eyes?

I am one of the 7 billion people in the world. Like everyone, I have plans, dreams, ambitions, desires and goals. I love God, freedom and my family. I like summer, taking pictures, hitchhiking , dance, work and have free time. I do not like winter, when someone is late and politicians. I am afraid of premature death, cancer and periodontitis. I am simpleness, sociable and sometimes funny.
