TITLE: No End in Sight
On a cold day in southern Wisconsin, a storm system began to roll through. At first, there were just some rain showers. But, as the day went on, something began to form over the frozen lake that surrounded the northern side of Madison. A cool haze began to overtake the city creepily. I quite literally watched the fog roll in right off the lake. The ice seemed to be a catalyst for fog as the temperatures crept up ever so slightly. The fog began to create otherworldly scenes at the park next to my house. As I began to walk around, so did everyone else. They all wanted to see for themselves how the conditions were changing so quickly. Before we knew it, fog blanketed the park. A man and his dog, out for a walk, stopped at the top of a bridge to look out over the river, which would normally look straight into the lake ahead. This time, though, there was no end in sight.
AUTHOR: Jonah Lange (United States)
I am a freelance photographer and storm chaser from Madison, WI (USA). I am a very passionate 22 year-old who focuses most of his life on storm chasing but also has a general love for photography and being out in the world instead of locked in an office space. I spend most of the summer months either storm chasing or hanging out with friends in the sun. The winters here are dark and cold... I can usually be found snowboarding and processing the insane amounts of photos I tend to take during the summer. When it is simply too cold for that, I enjoy spending time with the people in my life and furthering my love for photography.
