My object, the U.S. Capitol Washington D.C., is reflected in the Capitol’s Pool. The pool represents how our leaders and we as a country need to reflect on ourselves before judging each other and then maybe we can become a nation united not divided. The photo also captured a cloudy day and raindrops falling on the pool, representing the cloudy judgement of our leaders and the tears of our broken nation.

Hello, I am Aiden Cardoza, a 14 old photographer, AKA as Captain A, who is a passionate photographer and environmental advocate that co-founded Captain A TV (a 501(c)(3), dedicated to saving our planet and all it’s beautiful creatures). Over the last five years, I have spoken at numerous events on climate change and environmental challenges. I use my photography to showcase the beauty of the world and promote conservation efforts. My award-winning work has been recognized both locally and internationally, including exhibitions at the Orlando Science Center, Crikey! Magazine, the Australian Zoo, as well as winning Monovision’s Annual Recognition Award, in 2022, My artwork was sent to the International Space Station in 2024, and to live on the moon in 2025, as part of a prestigious mission hosted by Above Space. I am also a talented musician and an active member of Florida Virtual School’s Photography Club.
