TITLE: SOUTHERN FAMILY
It is a look at a family from Southern Italy who emigrated to the North who in the summer returns to their home in their hometown in Puglia. In contrast to the hysteria of urban-centric society here on their terrace, the simple joys of life, rooted in long-held traditions, are celebrated at a slow pace, transforming into poetic lightness in daily rituals. This place, this small terrace becomes a precious reflection of life, of the ethics of sacrifice, of time lived day after day with simplicity and dignity. The genuineness of a southern family leads us to reflect on the indissoluble bond with one's place of birth, the awareness that despite the chaotic vortex of the present, one can return to the slowness of life.

Anna Marzia Soria, alias --- Biba --- freelance photographer based in Bari, always interested in photography and art. He loves a type of minimal photography in which the approach to the representation of reality takes on a more anthropological and artistic slant, sometimes documentary and in which the interaction between the natural world and the human world, even in a more conceptual sense, are at the center of his photographic story in an almost dreamlike suspension dimension. Photography is for her a long-term dialogue with the soul. Reflections in the form of an image. In his shots he seems to forget the perception of time. Everything happens in a simple and slow way, with the rhythms of natural light.
