TITLE: The Byrdhouse
The photos I am submitting were taken over the course of the final five shows at The Byrdhouse. The Byrdhouse was a basement music venue in Albany, New York's underground music scene. The venue was started by Rachel Freeman in 2018 and existed in three different basements over the years. I discovered the Byrdhouse house just a few months ago, in February of 2022. Though my time spent at The Byrdhouse was brief, I managed to capture numerous photos that I will cherish for years to come. As looked over all the images I had captured in during the final shows though, there were a few clear standouts, and those are the images I am submitting.
