TITLE: Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
These pictures capture the landscape of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. I traveled from the Brooks Range to the Beaufort Sea, documenting this pristine environment. The images show a stretch of land at the center of a political debate about oil production and drilling in the Arctic regions of the United States. For me, shooting and editing these photos became a meditation on our relationship with the land and our place among a vast and vanishing wilderness.
