TITLE: Recurrent
A series with a more abstract view of buildings on Australia’s Gold Coast.
AUTHOR: Jutta Clough (Australia)
I bought my first compact camera when I was at school to capture mostly nature images on slides. Later, I used photography as a tool to help me create realistic wildlife images with paint mediums, such as watercolor and acrylic paint. That was how I expressed visions, ideas and sentiments. Just recently, I joined a photography club, and a steep learning curve is guiding me to combine artistic creativity and photography. I tend to zoom in on the detail, in photographs as I did when painting with a small brush. Now, the journey of creating an image starts with photography and continues with post-processing; and it is just as difficult to know when the post-processing is completed as it is to know when to put down the brush. As well as learning and experimenting, I am working on finding my niche.
