AUTHOR: leila Lahbi (Belgium)
I learned to look around me, and to interpret the beauty and artistic codes specific to the country.
Photography has always been a moment of joy shared with others.
Through a lens, we examine an attitude, a face, an object and put it in a situation with a personal vibration.
I am not necessarily trying to make things look beautiful or to take pictures that are demanding.
With framing, unconventional and harsh lights, sometimes colored. I express myself without barriers and without limits
My influences and my inspirations often come from the cinema and also from great photographers who rocked my childhood.
I have studied Photography and graduated in Belgium. I have worked as an assistant for several fashion studio in Paris, and Brussels. Passionate by movies and old black and white images.
My photographer icon are Diane Arbus, Salgado,Depardon
