TITLE: Number Three
In Denmark we have a very old crime-comedy-series called "Olsen Banden" (The Olsen Gang). A fictional gang consisting of 3 men who were always seen walking in a row like the ones on the picture. Olsen Banden is among some of the most watched films in Danish cinemas. If you ask any Dane “Do you know the "Olsen Gang?", they’ll more often than not give you a huge resounding yes.
Not only that, the railway station is number "3" (as seen on the steel-beam in the middle). Matching perfectly with everything else in this image.
The image i took in the Danish city "Aarhus", September 2020, when on a street photography walk with a couple of friends. The image is not edited, other than made black and white.
AUTHOR: Jacob Haas (Denmark)
My full name is Jacob Tinsfeldt Haas – i’m a 22-year-old half swiss half danish professional photographer based in Aarhus, Denmark.
I have a colossal passion for creating captivating visuals, from gorgeous landscapes to monochrome fine-art - not to mention catching the expressions of humans in all their glorious moments. I have been messing around with a camera since the age of nine, which is also why i'm now a student of photography.
I plan on doing this for the rest of my life, as it's where I can find my peace from the everyday hassle, noise and other things - but it is also where I can unfold my creativity to a satisfying and acceptable level.
The fact there’s only a button-click between you and the moment you’re trying to document is beautiful, somehow.
I’m in love with the creative process of creating an extraordinary piece of art & I always push myself further to find new aspects of this world to master and tell stories about - through my pictures.
It is, my endless passion.
