TITLE: Babusia
Ukrainian babusias (grandmothers) are special. First, it's hard to imagine them without headscarves, which necessarily have interesting patterns. Secondly, their eyes always reflect their vast life experience. Each wrinkle, each layer of shadow tells its own story. Babusia Oksana is 80 years old. All her life she has worked in the fields. Most of her life was spent in the Soviet Union, so she was used to working tirelessly from dawn till dusk. Having lived most of her life, Grandma Oksana has no regrets - she keeps a small vegetable garden and some livestock. Every morning begins with the rooster crowing and ends with the news on the radio at 7 p.m. There are not many like her left. People like her are a separate era.
