TITLE: Just a Body/ Not just a Body
This picture captures one; young polish photographer Zosia LS, taking nude pictures to her partner, and two; formation of a documentary movie by Michał Hytroś. Movie supposed to tell us about what does it mean to be naked in our society? What does it mean to be naked woman, naked man, what are the differences? Why do we hate our bodies? Why are we ashamed of them? Do we really hate our nudity, or the society hates it? If the society, why? If society don't, why do we? Why do we pay so much attention to naked body? Why men nipples are unmarked sexually, and women nipples are immediately a sexual image? Naked body isn't sexual untill we put it in that context. It's just a body, it's just a cover of our soul. But we walk in that cover for decades on earth, so it's not just a body also. It's a political weapon, used to manipulate, control, polarize society, arouse fear, to be used sexually and phisycally.
I have a body, you have a body, we all have them. It's up to us with what amount of respect, love, kindness and equality we will treat them.
AUTHOR: Magda Bremer (Poland)
I'm 25 year old amateur photographer. With pthotos I try to capture what I'm feeling photographing this particular thing, human being, event, situation, landscape. I find myself the most intrigued in documentary photography, which is an art and knowledge at the same time, and this is the gratest value that flows from it for me.
