TITLE: Locked Down
Inspired by the unprecedented situation and lockdown in Bali (where I live), as well as the rest of the world. Bali is the world known travel destination. Here for example, the majority of people work in the tourism and industries closely related to it. Due to the COVID pandemic, many businesses have closed, and it's pretty sad to see. People, especially hotel workers, tour guides, drivers, as well as us photographers are still left without bookings, gigs and any predictable income, as there have been no visitors, events or international flights allowed for already more than a year.
In my mind, this image depicts 'the naked Beauty/Life behind bars', representing the current situation worldwide, both metaphorically and symbolically.
