TITLE: Whitworth Mill
Infrared shot of a summer's day in the UK. The ancient agricultural charm of the Nene valley meets Wellingborough, a strange town in central England, and is dominated by this flour mill. I wanted to capture something a bit different, and I believe that the infrared picture captures this surreal and bleak meeting of nature and industry. I was first inspired to use infrared by John McDermott's arresting work in Angkor Wat.
