TITLE: Shattered

I took this photo on April 4th, 2021. I was walking around the neighborhood in Green Island, NY and I noticed this beautiful cracked glass light globe, on one of the neighbor's fences.

I don't live here, I had to travel urgently to the States with my husband for his medical treatment. Thankfully I had my Canon M50 mk2 camera to take this shot and I was using my telephoto lens.

At first I was thinking of keeping the photo in color but then I decided to create a black and white version.

I really like how the texture of the cracked glass stands out this way.
