TITLE: Between

The Photo was taken on a ferry at 3 o'clock in the morning between the mainland of Australia and the island of Tasmania .

I both studied and live in Sydney Australia. I come at photography not as a photographer but as a someone who has a broad education in most areas of what could broadly be called " the traditional aspects of fine Art practice" . So, to cut a long story short ,I identify myself as an image maker ,with a growing interest in the photo image as the most appropriate medium in which to consolidate and express a sense of absence .The theme of absence has been a constant recurring theme of my Art practice .
