TITLE: Stone Handmade Art

In the town where I live there is still very strong tradition of stone working. But some experts (and older) artisans are able to perform hand-processing while maintaining the integrity of the stone and enhancing its features.
This photo was born from my personal needs to tell a profession that will disappear with the next generations.

Sono un fotografo amatoriale con una lunga passione per la fotografia. Ho sempre cercato di curare gli aspetti tecnici facendo molte prove da autodidatta. Fino a qualche settimana fa. In questi giorni sto seguendo un corso promosso dal MoMA chiamato "Seeing Through Photographs" che ha ampliato le mie conoscenze storiche e soprattutto la visione della fotografia.
Sto valutando di trasformare la passione in professione.
