TITLE: Distances and contrasts
AUTHOR: paolo maresca (Italy)
I was born 36 years ago in Medicina in the province of Bologna. My job is a worker and I'm a big fan of music and photography. I love Italian cuisine, I love to travel and play sports.
I started photographing and studying in 2009, it has become an indispensable passion for my life.
It is an unceasing search for projects and challenges so close that sometimes, in this race, I am overwhelmed and exhausted by the events and people to whom I always dedicate myself with great passion.
There, where some dedicate themselves to a branch or a photographic genre, managing to reconcile their strengths and their time to perfecting some categories in which they feel they belong, I don't… I test myself in all photographic genres that up to today they intrigued me, I try to always give my best, studying and working to achieve a good result. My favorite photographic genres are: street photos, portraits, landscapes and animals.
I take inspiration from photography books, I participate in evenings and conferences where we talk about photography and shoot little, this makes emotions come out and help me to better interpret a new project.
Sometimes I let myself be transported by photos of great Masters who give me the bases from which to start, then I listen to myself and feel what surrounds me and I photograph what my instinct tells me.
