Yidan Lu，Chinese artist. She was born in Luoyang which is the birthplace of ancient Chinese Buddhism. In 2013, she entered Accademia Delle Belle Arti Di Brera to study Stage Design and Product Design in Italy and obtained a Master’s degree in 2017. The same year, she moved to the United States to study photography. Now she lives and works in Milan and San Francisco. In her early days, she conducted many exploratory experiments in media, such as painting, performance art, installation, and video. She believes that photography is a medium that can help her quickly approach aura. She likes to repeatedly enhance her perception of objects during the shooting process, leading to the "instant truth". Her work involves topics such as religion, surrealism, spatial boundaries, and mysticism, and she constantly explores the breadth of the current medium.
