Adrian is a Degree qualified design engineer specialising in electronics and embedded software. So it’s not surprising that he took to a fully digital workflow early in his photography. Adrian started to take his photography seriously in the 90's and studied City and Guilds photography, majoring in Black & White developing and printing. In 2000, he embraced a digital workflow, selling all his darkroom equipment in exchange for Photoshop, a large format scanner and printer. In 2002 Adrian started teaching C&G photography courses. Within a few years he progressed to leading Photoshop and Lightroom group courses and one-to-one's. In 2016 he left his 'day job' to concentrate on helping photographers to use the growing number of software tools, majoring in Photoshop and Lightroom.

Adrian has achieved success in national competitions, especially in B&W architecture. He has exhibited and sold limited edition prints. In 2016 one of his pictures was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, selling all copies of the limited edition. Adrian is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE).
