TITLE: Zaha's Spaceship
Against the backdrop of the gigantic Haydar Aliyef cultural center in Baku/Azerbaijan, the people passing by look like little toy figures. Viewed from a distance, the flowing, monolithic structure with its white panels and large glass fronts looks like a space station or a spaceship. Shaped differently on all sides, this futuristic building by the famous Iraqi-British architect and designer Zaha Hadid offers the viewer an infinite number of surprising perspectives and arouses numerous associations.
