By chance, I realized what harmonious shadows are created when a larger sheet of drawing cardboard has a sharp cut that is illuminated from the back. So after some experiments with different thicknesses of the drawing cardboard and different lengths of razor-sharp cuts, a "cutting pattern" was created which was further enhanced by the use of different brightnesses.
By combining the different cut patterns, an amazing pattern with an almost three-dimensional effect was created.
